A NASA spacecraft has recorded eerie-sounding radio emissions coming from our own planet. These beautiful "Songs of Earth" could, ironically, be responsible for the proliferation of deadly electrons in the Van Allen Belts.

FARSIDE EXPLOSION:  A sunspot on the farside of the sun exploded on Sept. 27th, sparking a bright flare of extreme ultraviolet radiation and hurling a massive CME into space. Although the explosion occurred on the other side of the sun, it was visible by NASA’s 3-D app on cell phones around Earth.    

HARVEST MOON: This weekend's full Moon is the Harvest Moon, the full Moon closest to the atumnal equinox. Before electric lights, farmers working after sunset relied on the light of the Harvest Moon to help them gather ripening autumn crops. Now it's just a pretty sight. Look east for the Harvest moonrise on Saturday night.

BIG SUN-DIVING COMET DISCOVERED: Astronomy forums are buzzing with speculation about newly-discovered Comet C/2012 S1 (ISON). Currently located beyond the orbit of Jupiter, Comet ISON is heading for a very close encounter with the sun next year. In Nov. 2013, it will pass less than 0.012 AU (1.8 million km) from the solar surface. The fierce heating it experiences then could turn the comet into a bright naked-eye object.

Much about this comet--and its ultimate fate--remains unknown. "At this stage we're just throwing darts at the board," says Karl Battams of the NASA-supported Sungrazer Comet Project, who lays out two possibilities:

"In the best case, the comet is big, bright, and skirts the sun next November. It would be extremely bright -- negative magnitudes maybe -- and naked-eye visible for observers in the Northern Hemisphere for at least a couple of months."

"Alternately, comets can and often do fizzle out! Comet Elenin springs to mind as a recent example, but there are more famous examples of comets that got the astronomy community seriously worked up, only to fizzle. This is quite possibly a 'new' comet coming in from the Oort cloud, meaning this could be its first-ever encounter with the Sun. If so, with all those icy volatiles intact and never having been truly stressed (thermally and gravitationally), the comet could well disrupt and dissipate weeks or months before reaching the sun."

"Either of the above scenarios is possible, as is anything in between," Battams says. "There's no doubt that Comet ISON will be closely watched. Because the comet is so far away, however, our knowledge probably won't develop much for at least a few more months."

Meanwhile, noted comet researcher John Bortle has pointed out a curious similarity between the orbit of Comet ISON and that of the Great Comet of 1680. "Purely as speculation," he says, "perhaps the two bodies could have been one a few revolutions ago."

SLIGHT CHANCE OF FLARES: NOAA forecasters estimate a 10% to 15% chance of M-class solar flares during the next 24 hours. The likely source would be sunspot AR1575, near the center of the solar disk. The odds are low, but if a flare occurs in AR1575, it will be Earth-directed.

The seasons are changing. Today, Sept. 22nd at 10:49 a.m. EDT, the sun crosses the celestial equator heading north. This marks the beginning of autumn in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern hemisphere. Coronal Hole : Below is a new image courtesy of SDO showing a triangle shaped Coronal Hole currently facing Earth. A Coronal Hole represents a region in the corona that is cooler than its surroundings, and open magnetic field lines are present here. The solar wind flows from Coronal Holes at a high speed and eventually gust past our planet if in a favorable position. The solar wind is expected to increase by September 21 and may lead to minor geomagnetic activity at very high latitudes.

Solar Update : Solar activity is currently low with only minor C-Class flares detected within the past 24 hours. A fair sized sunspot rotated into view off the eastern limb on Tuesday morning. Another region rotating into view in the southeast quadrant, is old sunspot 1553. At this time it looks to be a spotless plage. There will remain the possibility of C-Class solar flares and perhaps a small chance for an isolated M-Class event.  [Plage - A bright and intensely hot area in the sun's chromosphere, usually associated with a sunspot.]

These powerful incoming energies are causing an increased polarisation between those who choose to live in fear and those who choose to live in love, and are leading to the breakdown of societies, economies and all outdated systems, and increasing confrontations on the basis of race and religion.  For humanity, the outcome of the changes being wrought by these powerful energies, comprised of conscious intelligence, will be a quantum leap in consciousness for those who are spiritually ready to evolve and choose to do so. 

Be alert and aware, but do not live in fear.  What we focus on, we create.  Focus on the 'new humanity' which is even now beginning to emerge as more and more children are born with higher vibrational frequencies, more evolved DNA and greatly enhanced abilities. We are being assisted and guided towards a loving, harmonious and more unified future as a global family, but it is up to us to help create this future by our intention and our positive and loving thoughts, words and actions.  Those who are ready and who choose to live in love and light will experience a 'new age' of love, harmony and greater spiritual understanding on a higher dimensional Earth as the veil of forgetfulness is lifted.  Those who choose to continue living in fear, hate, greed, anger and violence will continue to create these emotions and experiences in a third dimensional reality filled with like-minded individuals.  It is up to each one of us to create the reality we wish to experience.                Messenger Spirit

There are two dangers presented in this video: 1) The Electromagnetic Event; and 2) The Mega Solar Flare & CME

HAARP:
Emotional & behavioral suppression technology, Silent Sound Spread Spectrum technology, and weather modification are dangerous, unethical, a secret in their truest form, and don't have anything to do with HAARP -- This is what you should know:
1) Things not caused by HAARP: Long Solar Minimum, Jupiter/Saturn Storms, Saturn/Venus Rotation Anomalies, New Radio Emission from Jupiter, Uranus Auroras, the ENA ribbon, and most importunely, earth's shifting N pole and fading Magnetic Shield. [There is a natural event taking place]
2) Weather Modification that is not HAARP: Radar Rings are different [local VLFs can do it without any help from HAARP], see video called 'Standing Wave Tank" to see how LF work better on water vapor than HF. Some rings are man made with VLF, others are a natural effect of the EM event; I believe we are trying to stop it.
3) Potential Danger of HAARP: Over-ionization of certain layers or regions, Creating Ozone holes, Increasing our Solar Vulnerability.
4) ****HAARP and the Russian/Norwegian Devices are directly under the auroral electrojet, which is the thing that would kill our grids in a solar storm. The devices are ionospheric heaters capable of expanding the electrojet and scattering the energy.

NIBIRU:
What can I say, there is no star coming in here. That would kill us, and wouldn't have left any planets here if it had come before. The term 'dark star' is a misnomer, it's not so dark you wouldn't see it. There IS a possibility that we could see a crossing 'planet', but not a star. Here are those possibilities, google will help fill in the blanks.
1) Hypothetical Planet Vulcan [not star trek] happens to be real and comes out from behind the sun.
2) Rogue Planet enters our system. [they outnumber stars in our galaxy]
3) Planetary 'Birthing' process where a baby planet comes out of the Sun, Saturn, or Jupiter.
4) A Return to the World described in 'Symbols of an Alien Sky'
[All but #2 could be lumped in together as caused by an electromagnetic event; I worry this is what is happening now-- Sitchen made many documented errors, and it was the Maya, not the Sumerians, who spoke of 2012]

MYSTERY SPHERES ON MARS: NASA's Mars rover Opportunity, still active after all these years, has just discovered a dense accumulation of puzzling little spheroids in a rock outcrop on the Red Planet. [full story]

MASSIVE SOLAR PROMINENCE: A huge arc of plasma-filled magnetism is rising over the sun's western limb. "It's more than 30 Earth diameters long," says amateur astronomer John Stetson, who photographed the structure backlit by the blue skies of Falmouth, Maine:

The size of the structure makes it an easy target for backyard solar telescopes. "Some prominences move at very high speed, but this one appears to be a relatively steady target for solar observers," says Stetson. "It is worth a look."

NOT AURORAS: For the past week, solar wind has been buffeting Earth's magnetic field, turning skies around the Artic Circle beautiful shades of green. But not every green sky is caused by the aurora borealis. Pilot Brian Whittaker was flying 34,000 feet over the Atlantic Ocean when he witnessed verdant hues caused by a completely different phenomenon--airglow. Here is the picture he took from the cockpit window:

"A dark and moonless night away from all lights allowed a great view of this textured patch of airglow," says Whittaker. "The illumination was faint, but it could be seen, especially in contrast to the dark ocean abyss below!"

Although airglow resembles the aurora borealis, its underlying physics is different. Airglow is caused by an assortment of chemical reactions in the upper atmosphere. During the day, ultraviolet radiation from the sun ionizes atoms and breaks apart molecules. At night, the atoms and molecules recombine, emitting photons as they return to normal. This process produces an aurora-like glow visible on very dark nights.                                                                  www.spaceweather.com

DOUBLE ASTEROID FLYBY: A pair of big, near-Earth asteroids will fly by the Earth-Moon system on Sept. 14th. 2012 QG42 is a 300-meter space rock that comes from the inner asteroid belt; it will pass 2.8 million km (7.4 lunar distances) from Earth.
2012 QC8 is even bigger, about 1.1 km in diameter, hailing from the vicinity of Jupiter; it will pass about 8.7 million km (22.7 lunar distances) from Earth. Astronomers monitoring the incoming space rocks say they are glowing like 14th to 15th magnitude stars, which makes them good targets for advanced amateur telescopes. Ephemerides: 2012 QG42, 2012 QC8.

EXPLOSION ON JUPITER: Apparently, something hit Jupiter during the early hours of Sept. 10th (11:35 UT), igniting a ferocious fireball in the giant planet's cloudtops. Amateur astronomer Dan Peterson Racine, Wisconsin, saw it first through his Meade 12" LX200 telescope. "It was a bright white flash that lasted only 1.5 - 2 seconds," he reports. Another amateur astronomer, George Hall of Dallas, Texas, was video-recording Jupiter at the time, and he confirmed the fireball with this video screenshot:

The fireball was probably caused by a small asteroid or comet hitting Jupiter. Similar impacts were observed in June and August 2010. An analysis of those earlier events suggests that Jupiter is frequently struck by 10 meter-class asteroids--one of the hazards of orbiting near the asteroid belt and having such a strong gravitational pull.

Astronomers around the world will now begin monitoring the impact site for signs of debris--either the cindery remains of the impactor or material dredged up from beneath Jupiter's cloud tops. Some impacts do produce such debris, while others don't. Researchers aren't sure why; perhaps this event will provide some clues.

SOLAR CONJUNCTION OF MERCURY: An astronomical conjunction is underway this week--but don't bother looking up because it is hidden in broad daylight. Mercury is passing only a degree and a half from the sun. Using an opaque disk to block the sun's glare, the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) took this picture of the close encounter on Sept. 10th:

In the weeks ahead, Mercury will move away from the sun, emerging from the glare in mid-October to assume the role of Evening Star in the western sky at sunset. ENTANGLED ERUPTION: Interrupting days of quiet, sunspot AR1564 erupted on Saturday, Sept. 8th, producing an M1-class solar flare. NASA's Solar Dynamics Obervatory (SDO) recorded the extreme ultraviolet flash:  [go to www.spaceweather.com]

The movie shows more than just a single flare. This eruption was "entangled." A magnetic tendril guided a wave of hot plasma all the way from the blast site to another active region (AR1562) on the western limb ~250,000 km away.

Since SDO was launched in 2010, the observatory has recorded hundreds of entangled eruptions. Sometimes they spread like a chain reaction to involve nearly the entire sun. A good example is the global eruption of August 2010. The moral to this story: One little flare can go a long way.                                                www.spaceweather.com

On Wednesday Sept. 5th a group of California high school students celebrated the 35th anniversary of the launch of Voyager 1 in an unusual way: they launched a rubber chicken. The popular NASA mascot Camilla traveled to the top of our planet's atmosphere on board a suborbital helium balloon. Here is a snapshot from an altitude of approximately 120,000 feet:

Camilla is wearing headphones. Why? Because she's listening to the Golden iPod, the modern-day successor to the Golden Records bolted to the side of the Voyager probes. The students are updating the Golden Records with 21st-century content that the students would like to send into the cosmos. This was just a test flight; in 2013, they hope to launch the Golden iPod into Earth orbit onboard a CubeSat they are building.

At the apex of the Sept. 5th suborbital flight, the helium balloon popped as planned and Camilla parachuted back to Earth. The students, who call their group "Earth to Sky," recovered Camilla and the Golden iPod from a remote landing site in the Nevada wilderness on Sept. 6th. Now they are all enjoying music that has been to the doorstep of space itself.
